This Privacy Policy explains how Software Today ("SalesCard", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the SalesCard website at https://salescard.in and the SalesCard daily sales reporting application (together, the "Service").
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, mobile number, email address, company name, designation, location or territory, country, currency and time zone.
- Sign-in information: your 4-digit PIN (stored only in encrypted, hashed form) and, if you use Google sign-in, the name and email address Google shares with us.
- Sales report data: the daily sales reports you submit (visits, new visits, follow-ups, sales, billing, collections, remarks), targets, and any customer profiles you add, such as customer names, phone numbers, email addresses and city.
- Payment information: plan, amount, currency and payment reference. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers (such as Stripe or Razorpay) and are never stored by us.
- Technical information: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, basic server logs, and the country you choose in the site menu.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account, approve free trials and activate paid plans.
- To store your sales reports and show them to you and to the managers, HR users and administrators in your organisation who are permitted to see them.
- To create WhatsApp messages, share links and exports that you choose to generate.
- To provide support, keep the Service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your sales data for advertising.
4. Legal basis
We process personal information to perform our contract with you or your organisation, with your consent where required, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service. Where applicable laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU/UK GDPR or other local laws give you additional rights, we honour them.
5. Who can see your data
- Your organisation: if your account was created by your employer, your managers, HR users and your organisation's administrators can see the reports you submit.
- People you share with: when you send a report on WhatsApp or create a share link, anyone with that message or link can read it. You can revoke share links at any time.
- Service providers: hosting (Hostinger), payment processors and Google sign-in, only as needed to run the Service.
- Authorities: when required by law.
6. Customer data you enter
When you add details about your own customers, you are responsible for having a lawful reason to record them. We process that data only on your or your organisation's instructions.
7. Data retention
We keep account and report data while your account is active. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, unless we must keep it longer by law. You can export your reports as CSV at any time.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed PINs, role-based access, sign-in lockout after repeated wrong PINs, and activity logs. No system is completely secure, so please keep your PIN private.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by writing to sumitnrawat@gmail.com. If your account belongs to an organisation, we may forward your request to that organisation.
10. Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and one preference cookie to remember your country. These are needed for the Service to work.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
11. International transfers
Your data may be stored on servers outside your country. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
12. Children
The Service is meant for working professionals and is not directed at children under 18.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders.
